Kate & Toby (Try to) Rekindle Their Romance in the ‘This Is Us’ Season 4, Episode 6 Promo
Marriage can be hard work. And when you add a baby into the mix, romance often falls by the wayside.
In the This Is Us season four, episode six promo, Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) decide their relationship needs a little pick-me-up and opt to get away sans baby Jack. “For the sake of our marriage, we need to get out of here,” Toby tells Kate as they unpack boxes in their new home.
So, away they go to a rather sexily lit hotel, but it doesn’t quite seem to fix things. Kate and Toby lay in bed side by side not touching and Kate asks him if he’s still attracted to her. As you’ll remember, Toby recently admitted to Kate that he’s secretly been doing CrossFit and going to the gym since the arrival of their child. Kate, meanwhile, has been overeating due to the added stress of being a parent. It appears that this secret and Toby’s new physique could be contributing to Kate’s insecurity. And, if we’re not wrong, it seems like maybe their love life hasn’t been what it once was. Will their romantic trip bring them closer or drive them further apart? TBD.
It also seems that we’ll revisit Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and young Randall’s (Lonnie Chavis) relationship with a conversation about race on a golf course, and Kevin (Justin Hartley) will continue to invest in his friendship with Cassidy (Jennifer Morrison). And although he’s trying to help her save her marriage, it seems like he’s definitely developing feelings for her.
We can’t wait to see what’s in store when This Is Us season four, episode six premieres on NBC on Tuesday, October 29, at 9 p.m. PT/ET.
