It's the end of an era for the Middleton sisters: Kate and Pippa have decided to sell the three-story apartment in the posh London neighborhood of Chelsea where they lived in prior to the elder Middleton's wedding in 2011.

The Sunday Times first reported that the apartment, which the sisters bought for £780,000 before Kate was a Duchess, is currently listed for £1.95 million, which converts to about $2.5 million.

Their parents originally bought the three-bedroom, two-bathroom flat in 2002. At the time, the apartment was reportedly decorated with neutral tones and boasted natural light all day long thanks to east and west exposures. In other words, a real estate dream. The flat also boasts a large master bathroom, large windows, and an "upper floor maisonette that provides "a peaceful, light and spacious home."

Kate first met Prince William in 2001, while they were students at St. Andrew's University. Aside from a brief split in 2007, they dated steadily from the early 2000s until their engagement in 2010. Both Kate, who is now Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, and Pippa, who married James Matthews in May 2017, have moved onto other fantastic housing. The former lives in a 20-room apartment 1A at Kensington Palace, and the latter resides in a £17 million London townhouse with her husband and newborn son Arthur.

The Middleton bachelorette pad isn't the only recent real estate news for the royals and royal adjacents, either. It was recently revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen not to reside in Kensington Palace in the long term, and instead will be moving to Frogmore Cottage, where Wallace Simpson is famously buried.
