From Woman's Day

At this point, there's not much the world doesn't know about Kate Middleton's past. Being the Duchess of Cambridge and all, she's been written about a lot over the years. But until recently, one crucial part of Kate's upbringing has been completely overlooked: That time she worked for her mom, Carole Middleton.

Early on in their marriage, Kate's dad, Michael, worked as a flight dispatcher while Carole was a flight attendant. Seven years later, the couple decided to launch a children's party supplies company called Party Pieces. In a new interview in the January issue of Good Housekeeping U.K., Carole opened up about her booming business and told the outlet that all of her kids - Kate included - had a crucial part to play in making Party Pieces a success.

"My children all worked for the business. Catherine started the First Birthday brand - she chose the products and looked after all the imagery and catalogue production," the mom-of-three revealed. In case you're curious, here are a few goodies from the collection that the Duchess oversaw. Definitely some exciting stuff that Princess Charlotte and Prince George would enjoy:

Meanwhile, her sister, Pippa, was in charge of putting the company blog together. And finally, their youngest brother, James, oversaw personalized cakes. Even though each of the Middleton kids are off doing their own things now, Carole still talks about her work with them.

"Party Pieces has been very much part of our lives and what we talked about. I still ask their advice and say, 'what do you think of this?'"

Those Middletons really can do it all.
