Kate Middleton's Mom Just Gave Some Rare Insight Into How the Royal Kids Spend Halloween

Wondering what the royal kids are doing for Halloween? TBH me neither (too busy planning my own costume that I'll inevitably be too lazy to wear, obviously), but now that we're on the topic I am...curious! And while we don't know everyone's plans, it sounds like Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will be decorating pumpkins with their grandmother, Carole Middleton.

Carole implied as much in a post shared to the Instagram account for her brand Party Pieces, musing “Halloween is an Autumn highlight for me. I can still remember the fun and frights from my own childhood; the chance to dress up, decorate pumpkins and go trick-or-treating! I’ve even grown my own pumpkins this year, so I’m looking forward to decorating those with my loved ones.”

Carole is known to be extremely close to her grandchildren, as well as Kate Middleton and Prince William, so not shocked she has big Halloween plans. Last year, royal biographer Angela Levin told The Sun that Carole and William are particularly tight, saying she made Wills "feel secure, comfortable and protected and he didn’t have to worry about what he said or be responsible for her emotions.”

Angela also noted that “William learnt through the Middletons how a loving and supportive family works. It has been the bedrock of making Kate loving, calm and confident."

Meanwhile, royal author Phil Dampier told the outlet that Carole has a huge influence on the family. "Kate turns to her for advice and comfort all the time and she spends a lot of time with William and Kate’s three children," he said. "Carole will be a stabilizing and supportive force in the background, looking after the kids when needs be but also just being there for the. Carole is very much a power behind the throne and her influence is immense."
