Kate Middleton's go-to order at one of her favourite cosy Berkshire pubs has been revealed by the former chef - and we can't get over how incredible her choices sound.

One of the biggest aspects of traditional English culture includes a regular jaunt to your local pub, where you might indulge in a pint (or two, or three... or four) with friends, and even order some traditional English fare like fish and chips. Turns out, even the royals appreciate a good pub meal once in a while - and we just found out which classic pubs foods Princess Kate likes best.

One of Kate's favourite pubs is reportedly one located in her hometown called the Old Boot Inn in Stanford Dingley, a village in Berkshire, England - and according to the pub's former chef, Princess Catherine has been known to indulge in some seriously delicious-sounding menu items - which is no surprise, considering even the meals she cooks at home sound fantastic.

"Her favourite [dishes] are the pate on toasted brioche or the roast figs on parma ham with spicy apple chutney, followed by the tiger prawn and wild mushroom linguine," Chef Rody Warot once told Peopleabout the Princess of Wales.

As for dessert, Kate loves what is arguably the most classic English dessert of all time. "And for the [dessert], her favourite is sticky toffee pudding. It’s moist and spongy," he finished.

With so many foodie delights on the menu, it's no surprise Catherine is a fan - and the pub sounds so cosy too, with Rody adding that the pub, which boasts two fireplaces, is "very warm".

Despite being the future Queen, Princess Catherine keeps things quiet and lowkey when she pays a visit to the Old Boot Inn, but is said to never forget her manners, always making sure to compliment the food she's eaten.

Chef Rody added, "Kate is always discreet and has always complimented the dishes with great kindness."
