Kate Middleton's Chunky Bronde Highlights Are My Ultimate Summer Hair Color

These days, celebrities are changing up their hair colors left and right. We're used to seeing members of famous families like the Kardashians and Jenners switch up their looks quite often. But today, it's all about one member of a different famous family — the royal family. We're talking about The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

The Duchess, who rarely switches up her hair color and style, has just debuted bronde, chunky highlights.

The new hue was shared on the official Kensington Royal Instagram page, where the Duchess was shown in behind-the-scenes photos from her new work with BBC Education program Tiny Happy People, an initiative to help support parents and caregivers with language development with free digital resources.

Middleton is seen smiling at children in the shots with her new hair color, a brown base with brighter pieces throughout. Her new hair was complemented by a black and white polka-dotted dress and a simple, soft makeup look (per usual).

This isn't the first time we've seen the Duchess with a lighter shade of brunette. In June 2019, she was spotted with similar caramel highlights, though this color appears to be even a little bit lighter. Like so many of us, it seems like she just enjoys brightening up her look for the summertime.
