Kate Middleton Wraps Up in a Cozy Gray Coat for Christmas Day with the Royals

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas with the royal family heading out to church in Sandringham.

The royal tradition of attending church on Christmas Day initially started when the queen's great-great grandmother, Queen Victoria, used to visit St. Mary Magdalene, which is close to the Sandringham estate. 2019 marks the first joint appearance at the service by little royals Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Duchess Kate was accompanied by her husband, Prince William, and two of the couple's three children—Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Ahead of the Christmas Day celebrations, Kate and William took to Instagram to share the most perfect family portrait. Taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, the previously unseen snap featured William kissing youngest son Prince Louis, as Prince George and Princess Charlotte posed with exceedingly cheeky expressions.

Back in 2018, Kate walked side-by-side with Meghan Markle to the church service, and the two duchesses put feud rumors to rest with their jovial demeanors.

While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the royal family's Christmas Day church service in 2018, they were absent this year for an understandable reason. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to take some much-needed time out over the holidays, and are currently celebrating the holiday season in Canada.
