While Kate Middleton is officially on maternity leave after giving birth to Prince Louis just over month ago, the Duchess of Cambridge returned to the public eye today to participate in the Queen's birthday parade, the Trooping of the Colour. Middleton wore a Cinderella-blue dress and fascinator. The pastel blue ensemble matched Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall's, in a nice family moment.

This year, Middleton and Camilla rode without Prince Harry in his carriage. Harry rode behind them with her new wife Meghan Markle, who wore an off-the-shoulder peachy dress to the event. The Trooping the Colour is considered to be a royal family affair, and Middleton has always attended, even during her maternity leaves.

Later this morning, Middleton will join the full royal family, including her kids and the Queen, on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the RAF flypast. Her next event will likely be in the early fall or late summer, 4-6 months after she made her last event appearance in March.
