Kate Middleton chose a particularly chic, office-appropriate outfit for her most recent engagement alongside Prince William. The Duchess arrived at an NHS call center wearing a pink pantsuit, believed to be from Marks and Spencer, and heels. A simple white shirt and casual blowout pulled the look together.

She and William visited the London Ambulance Service 111 Control Room on Thursday to boost morale, as the workers there struggled to cope with a fivefold increase in calls amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Following the event, William released a statement, underscoring the importance of taking appropriate precautions during these uncertain times.

"All of us have a part to play if we’re going to protect the most vulnerable," the Prince's statement reads. "That means acting on the latest expert advice, staying home if we or those we live with have symptoms, and avoiding non-essential contact to help reduce the spread of the virus."

Kate and William's previously unannounced engagement comes as other, older royals—namely Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Camilla—fade from public view. With Charles and Camilla in their early 70s, and the Queen nearing her 94th birthday, all are considered to be in a high-risk category for COVID-19.

However, they're still finding ways to be present for the British public. Yesterday, after leaving Buckingham Palace for Windsor Castle a week early, the Queen released a statement about the public health crisis.

"At times such as these, I am reminded that our nation’s history has been forged by people and communities coming together to work as one, concentrating our combined efforts with a focus on the common goal," it read, later adding, "Many of us will need to find new ways of staying in touch with each other and making sure that loved ones are safe. I am certain we are up to that challenge. You can be assured that my family and I stand ready to play our part."
