Kate Middleton Wore the Perfect Yellow Dress for a Rare Television Appearance

Like many of the other royals, Kate Middleton is using her position to spread the word about safety, charity and togetherness during the coronavirus pandemic. On Thursday, the Duchess of Cambridge appeared on Britain's This Morning to launch a project called "Hold Still" with the National Portrait Gallery.

In an earlier Instagram post on the official Kensington Royal page, they explained, "In collaboration with the @NationalPortraitGallery, we are asking you to help capture the spirit, the mood, the hopes, the fears and the feelings of the UK as we continue to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak." They also gave rules about how to submit writing, "The images can be captured on phones or cameras and each image will be assessed on the emotion and experience it conveys rather than its photographic quality or technical expertise."

On the morning show, Middleton explained why she wanted to launch the initiative saying, "We’ve all seen some incredible images out there and heard some amazing stories and some desperately sad stories, also some really uplifting stories as well. And I really hope through a project like this we might be able to showcase some of those stories and to document or share a moment in time, I suppose that we’re all experiencing.”

Of course, even through zoom, the Duchess showed up looking incredible with a perfect blow out and a yellow dress by British brand Raey.
