Kate Middleton Wore the Perfect Baby Blue Outfit for Easter

On Sunday, the British royal family stepped out for Easter church services at St. George's Chapel in Windsor. Although the entire brood looked expectedly dapper, it was once again Kate Middleton that stole the royal fashion show.

For the services, Middleton took an old favorite out of the back of her closet—a baby blue Alexander McQueen jacket she wore at least once before during a 2014 trip to Sydney, according to PopSugar. Middleton wore a matching dress underneath the tailored jacket and accessorized the coat with a coordinating Jane Taylor hat, which she also recycled from the same 2014 trip. Middleton then added a bit of sparkle to her look with the Robinson Pelham earrings she wore on her wedding day, a matching clutch, and simple suede Emmy London pumps. According to Footwear News, the pumps are made from kid suede, come with a 4.5-inch heel and retail for $545.

Middleton stepped into the church services—which also doubled as a birthday celebration for Queen Elizabeth, who turns 93 today—alongside her husband, Prince William. Other members of the royal family quickly joined them, including Princess Beatrice and her father Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, their daughter Lady Louise Windsor, and Mike and Zara Tindall. Prince Harry also made an appearance, however, his wife Meghan Markle skipped the service as her due date is quickly approaching.

Although we didn't get to see Markle's Easter fashion choices, she was still a part of the celebrations. At least in spirit. Prior to the services, both she and Prince Harry posted an adorable message to the Queen on their Instagram account to honor her birthday.

"Happy Birthday Your Majesty, Ma’am, Granny. Wishing you the most wonderful day," the duo wrote in the caption of their post. They signed it, "Harry & Meghan." And now that this year's service is over we can start looking forward to next year's service, where hopefully all the royal children—including Harry and Meghan's new baby—will get to join in the fun too.
