Kate Middleton Wore a Green Shalwar Kameez to Visit the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore
Kate Middleton has once again stepped out in a stylish look during her and Prince William's jam-packed royal tour of Pakistan.
During a visit to Lahore's Badshahi Mosque, Kate wore a green shalwar kameez by Maheen Khan, paired with a matching headscarf.
The Duchess has made a point of sporting Pakistani fashions while on tour. When she and William first touched down in the country on Monday, she was wearing a custom Catherine Walker outfit. The matching blue pants and dress were inspired by the shalwar kameez. She paired the two-piece look with earrings from Zeen, a local label that's proving to be a staple of her royal tour wardrobe.
The next day, Kate trotted out back-to-back-to-back Pakistani-inspired outfits. She began in the morning in a green tunic by Catherine Walker and white pants by Maheen Khan; a Satrangi scarf and Zeen earrings finished off the look. Later, she appeared in a blue kurta and trousers. Once again, the look was finished off with Zeen jewelry.
The Duchess concluded her second day on tour with a sparkling green gown by Jenny Packham. The dress's color was possibly chosen as a reference to the design of Pakistan's flag; her gold earrings, from the brand Onitaa, were reportedly sourced from Pakistan.
Even Prince William has joined in on the sartorial statement. On Tuesday, he became the first British royal to wear a traditional sherwani. The two-piece outfit was designed by Karachi-based label Naushemian.
