Kate Middleton Wore a Gorgeous Navy Coat for Her First Public Appearance in 2018

Meghan Markle may have donned a chic camel-colored coat for her first public appearance of 2018 with Prince Harry by her side, but she’s got nothing on Kate Middleton, who stepped out for the first time this year wearing an elegant (and baby bump-friendly) navy double-breasted style from French designer Hobbs.

Just a day after her 36th birthday, Kate spent the afternoon at Reach Academy in London on behalf of Place2Be, a mental-health charity that she’s been a patron of for years. Call it the second-trimester glow, but Kate was beaming as she greeted and chatted with students at the school.

Or maybe she was just thrilled to be out now that both George and Char are in school. (We feel you, royal mama.)
