We know the "Kate Effect" is real -- anything the royal wears immediately sells out within days. According to reports, the duchess has garnered over $1 billion for the UK economy due to her trendsetting fashion choices, a financial impact that her children have also had as well.
And while the royal is known for her high fashion looks, it's frequently her affordable style that sells out and puts thousands of shoppers on waitlists. Take her favorite sneakers, for example. Her $65 white Superga shoes have doubled sales for the brand since she started wearing the sneakers and are often sold out once the duchess is photographed wearing them.

We first noticed the sneakers on the duchess back in 2016 during her royal tour of Canada. Since then, Kate's opted for the affordable brand for a variety of off-duty and royal events, including attending the London marathon, a rowing race and during the royal tour of Germany and Poland.
