Royal fans and future brides who are still swooning over Kate Middleton's wedding dress need to look no further-an affordable version of the gown is now available at H&M. The white lace floor-length dress is nearly an exact replica of the Duchess of Cambridge's custom Alexander McQueen dress, which was designed by creative director Sarah Burton for her wedding to Prince William in 2011.

But at $299, H&M's copy is much cheaper than the original. According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, Middleton's bridal gown cost £150,000 (about $211,069), but CBS reports that it cost as much as $434,000.

The H&M version nailed the most identifiable features in Kate's dress: the sheer lace sleeves over a bustier top, a scalloped neckline, and A-line silhouette. However, there are still a few subtle differences: there's a ribbon belt at the waist, there's a keyhole slit in the back, and there are no lace details at the bottom of the skirt.

Most notably, it's missing that iconic massive train. The H&M look also doesn't include an elegant veil, a tiara loaned by the Queen, and a prince for a husband; but for $299, it's a royal bargain.

With Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding day just about a month away, we have another royal bridal gown to look forward to (and possibly replicate). The bride-to-be hasn't leaked details on what dress or designer she's picked for her big day, but according to royal expert Katie Nicholl, she probably won't upstage Middleton when it comes to the price of her gown. Markle's dress might cost less, but it definitely won't equate to a $299 steal from H&M.
