Kate Middleton is back to work.
This morning, the Princess of Wales visited HMP High Down, a prison in Surrey, in support of one of her royal patronages, Forward Trust. There, she learned about how the charity is supporting those who are incarcerated to recover from addiction, and spoke with participants in various programs run by the Trust. Kate also visited the Clink, an on-site restaurant that trains incarcerated people in hospitality.
During the visit, reporters noticed that two of Kate's fingers on her right hand were bandaged together, and Kensington Palace said it was from an injury playing with her kids on the trampoline. Per a Palace spokesperson, it was a "a small injury, nothing serious."
For the occasion, Kate wore an amethyst Alexander McQueen suit, and accessorized with a meaningful disc pendant necklace from Daniella Draper that features the initials of her three kids: Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince Louis.
This is not the first time Kate wore the customized pendant necklace; she recently sported it during a taping for Mike Tindall's "The Good, The Bad and the Rugby" podcast, discussing the Rugby World Cup with Prince William and Princess Anne. Plus, this past weekend, while she didn't wear it to the Rugby World Cup, she was spotted in a Mappin & Webb diamond pendant necklace.
The jewelry trend of pendants is definitely here to stay; in fact, Kate's sister-in-law Meghan Markle was also recently pictured wearing a circular pendant necklace while out to lunch with friends. Here, shop similar necklaces:
