Kate Middleton Wears a Gray Coat to Visit Leicester with Prince William
On Wednesday, Prince William and Kate Middleton stepped out at Leicester City's football stadium to honor those that died in a tragic helicopter accident on October 27, 2018, including the club's chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
According to the BBC, Prince William has said that he was "lucky" to have personally known Srivaddhanaprabha who was "dedicated to his family."
Later in the day, Kate and William will pay a visit to the University of Leicester, where they will meet with staff and students, and find out about the work the institution is doing in the local community.
Kate Middleton and Prince William have a busy day of official engagements ahead, as they visit Leicester in the United Kingdom. Stopping first at Leicester City's King Power Stadium, the Duke and Duchess are meeting with staff following a tragic helicopter accident last month which claimed the lives of five people.
For the excursion, Kate wore a gray coat:
Per the BBC, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who was the football club's chairman, died in the crash on October 27, 2018, as did two of his staff members, the helicopter's pilot and the pilot's partner. Throughout his career, Srivaddhanaprabha generously made donations to many important causes which supported the local community, and Prince William has spoken fondly about the businessman.

According to the BBC, the former chairman's son, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, released a heartfelt statement about Kate and William's visit saying, "For their Royal Highnesses to visit the city to pay their respects personally is a remarkable gesture of compassion to the families of those who lost their lives, to the staff and players of the club and to the people of the city whose lives were touched by my father."
