From Town & Country

There's nothing like a Cambridge Christmas! If there's one thing the royals excel at, it's the holidays. Whether it's appearances for the queen's annual holiday luncheon, charitable excursions with their main philanthropic endeavors, or the yearly family traditions at Sandringham, the Windsors never fail to end the year festively. One such occasion that is always looked forward to: the annual Cambridge family Christmas card.

Yesterday, one recipient of the royal message shared the holiday greeting online, and as is the case every year, the Duchess of Cambridge looks incredibly stylish.

For the 2019 mailer, the Cambridge's have settled on a general blue-themed dress code, but it is Middleton's fresh teal wrap dress that steals the show. The Boden frock's white pattern added a touch of punchy whimsy to the family aesthetic, with subtle coordination with little Prince Louis' overalls. (Unfortunately, as with many of Middleton's ensembles, the dress has already sold out.)

Prince George and Princess Charlotte, however, were more closely coordinated with their father's navy top for the sweet photo.

Of course, the Duchess' sartorial choice is in line with her favored color palette. Earlier this month, she wore a navy Alexander McQueen gown with a bold blue sash for a diplomatic reception at Buckingham Palace.

The look is, of note, a departure from the family Christmas card in 2018, which Kate wore a more casual outfit that included crisp blue jeans, a blouse, and sweater—giving the card a distinctly laidback vibe.

Clearly, the best way to round out a year of incredible fashion decisions is the annual holiday card. See some of the other stand out Duchess of Cambridge fashion moments here.
