If Duchess Kate Middleton is anything it’s consistent. The woman loves to keep her silhouettes simple, stays true to her standby designers and you can always guarantee her hair is extra shiny. Yesterday evening, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out to fulfill her royal duties for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall and naturally, she decided to go with one of her favorite styles – a black lace dress – for the occasion.

The Duchess attended the ceremony in another Dolce & Gabbana number. She recently rocked a fall-perfect burgundy-hued piece from the house rendered in – you guessed it – lace, so it comes as little surprise, given her consistency, that she would choose a similar look from the Italian fashion house, this time in black and with a lower neckline. The Duchess accessorized with a poppy pin and sensible shoes.

Since it’s Dolce & Gabbana, the dress was by no means inexpensive with its $3,175 price tag, but she’s royalty and dresses accordingly. If money ain’t a thing for you, we’d jump on this one. With the Kate Middleton effect, we wouldn’t be surprised to see this piece disappear from shelves with the quickness.

For Remembrance Sunday, the Duchess was spied looking quite solemn in a very fetching black coat we need right now with velvety textured panels and of course, a poppy pin. She topped it all off with a black hat boasting a butterfly and a delicate veil, proving once again that no matter how you feel about Kate’s style, she always comes correct in the hat department.
