Kate Middleton Steps Out in Wide-Leg Trousers for a Surprise Visit to the Natural History Museum
This morning, the Duchess of Cambridge is continuing her focus on nature and the benefits the outdoors can have on both mental and physical health.
Kate just arrived at the Natural History Museum in London for a previously unannounced event. While there, the Duchess of Cambridge, who is patron of the museum, will visit the Angela Marmont Centre for U.K. Biodiversity to hear about how the center is helping to protect the country's wildlife.
For the engagement, Kate chose to wear a cranberry colored sweater from Warehouse and a pair of olive green trousers by Jigsaw. She paired the look with hoop earrings and a quilted Chanel handbag.
It was a bit more formal of a look than her most recent public appearance.
Over the weekend, the Cambridges (minus little Louis) took in an Aston Villa soccer game. Will, Kate, George, and Charlotte were all seen cheering in the crowds, with the Duchess of Cambridge sporting a turtle neck and a puffy coat. Prince George in particular seemed very enthusiastic about the competition.
Next week, Kate will travel to Pakistan for a five-day tour of the country with Prince William, a visit which is being called their "most complex" overseas trip to date.
Details about the royals' itinerary are slim, but in a statement made earlier this month, the royal couple's communications secretary said their schedule will not only “pay respect to the historical relationship between Britain and Pakistan,” but will also “largely focus on showcasing Pakistan as it is today–a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation.”
He also noted: “This is the most complex tour undertaken by The Duke and Duchess to date, given the logistical and security considerations.”
