Kate Middleton Shares New Photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis In a Rare, Casual Moment

To celebrate Prince William’s birthday on June 21, Kate Middleton released two new portraits of the royal family, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself.

The first, which was shared on Instagram, shows the birthday boy with his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, all dressed down in jeans and casualwear.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new picture of The Duke with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis ahead of The Duke’s birthday tomorrow,” the official Kensington Royal account shared. “The picture was taken earlier this month by The Duchess.”

Kate Middleton also shared another, more candid shot of her family piling on their father on the grass.

First of all, two-year-old Prince Louis looks so much more grown-up than he did in the birthday portraits we saw of him, just this April!

Second, it’s a real shame Middleton is always behind the camera (though we never want her to stop sharing these portraits). However, in honor of Father’s Day, the Kensington Royal Instagram account did share a never-before-seen image of young Catherine with her father, Michael Middleton.

Kate Middleton recently made her first public appearance since quarantining with her family back in March, wearing a casual jean look of her own.

According to the Daily Mail, the duchess wore a padded vest by Fjallrave, skinny jeans from Massimo Dutti, a linen shirt from Jaeger, Monica Vinader earrings, and Superga sneakers to speak with the owners and staff members of the Fakenham Garden Center about reopening their business after coronavirus shutdowns.

The duchess reportedly told staffers that her children have been growing tomato plants and spending time outside during quarantine. With today’s new photos, we have a glimpse of what that looks like!
