Kate Middleton Said She Felt "Isolated" When Prince George Was a Baby
Kate Middleton is speaking out about the difficult time she had right after Prince George was born.
The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Ely and Caerau Children’s Centre in Wales on Wednesday where she opened up about both her experience as a first-time mother with Prince George and living on the Welsh island of Anglesey when Prince William was stationed there.
“It’s nice to be back in Wales,” Middleton said. “I was chatting to some of the mums. It was the first year and I’d just had George — William was still working with search and rescue — and we came up here and I had a tiny, tiny baby in the middle of Anglesey. It was so isolated, so cut off. I didn’t have any family around, and he was doing night shifts. So … if only I had had a center like this.”

Middleton arrived at the center in a double-breasted camel coat that she layered on top of a black turtleneck, a pleated midi leopard-print skirt, and suede boots.
