Kate Middleton and Prince William are back to doing events together, making their first joint work appearance since the Duchess of Cambridge returned from maternity leave last week. The decision to wear Emilia Wickstead sends a clear message too. Wickstead created controversy earlier this year when the designer reportedly alleged Meghan Markle's wedding dress looked like her own design. Wickstead later released a statement refuting this, saying "Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Sussex looked absolutely beautiful on her wedding day and I have the utmost admiration and respect for her. I do not think that her wedding dress was a copy of any of our designs."

Meghan wore Emilia Wickstead in July, making it clear then that there were no hard feelings in the royal family. Kate's choice today further echoes that.

Kate and William will be attending a seminar on Children, Young People, and the Next Generation, Hello! detailed ahead of the event along with the summit's exhibition area to meet representatives from various mental health organizations.

The two are next due out together for Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday.
