Princess Charlotte is taking after her mom's artsy side. During a visit to Passage homeless shelter this week, Kate Middleton revealed that her three-year-old daughter is a fan of crafts.

Kate, who was joined by husband Prince William, helped make cards and prep gifts for the shelter ahead of the holidays, according to People. While making a beaded bracelet, the Duchess of Cambridge noted that Charlotte "would love making these."

Prince William, on the other hand, was not so great with the artistic activities. He helped make a sign for a Christmas dinner, but his cutting skills left Kate laughing.

"My son knows I’m useless at this," he joked, likely referencing his five-year-old, Prince George, per People. "Catherine is the artsy one," he said of his wife.

Kate graduated from the University of St. Andrews with an art history degree, and went on to include the subject in her royal work. In addition to photographing her children's official royal portraits, the Duchess of Cambridge became the first royal patron of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London in March, and opened its photography center in October.

"The duchess' personal interest in photography, textiles and the visual arts, alongside her support for the role of art in supporting mental health and nurturing young people's creative talent, fits naturally with the collections and civic purpose of the V&A," the museum's director Tristram Hunt previously said in a statement.
