  • In Kate Middleton and Prince William’s upcoming Christmas special, A Berry Royal Christmas, Kate tells Mary Berry that “Mary” was one of Prince Louis’s first words.

  • She also says Louis would recognize Mary if he saw her, lol!

As you may or may not already know, the queen isn’t the only royal with a Christmas special this year. Prince William and Kate Middleton teamed up with former Great British Bake Off host Mary Berry for a holiday special called A Berry Royal Christmas. According to the Cambridges’ Insta, the special will follow the royals and Mary “as they serve a festive feast to thank those who are spending their Christmas helping others.”

And yeah, that sounds cute, but what’s even cuter is that in the special, Kate talks a bit about little Prince Louis and reveals that he’s already a big Mary Berry fan! According to Daily Mail, Kate tells Mary, “One of Louis’s first words was ‘Mary’ because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen bookshelf....And children are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your cooking books, and he would say, ‘That’s Mary Berry’...so he would definitely recognize you if he saw you today.” Ahhh, I CANNOT with how cute that is!!!

But there’s even more royal intel! While speaking about the special with Mail on Sunday’s You magazine, Mary shared, “It was just lovely observing [Will and Kate] for those three days. When they are together, he’s constantly touching her arm and looking over at her smiling and she’s the same with him. It was very sweet to see because it was so natural.”

And with that, I’ve officially turned into a puddle! The special airs tomorrow, December 16, on BBC One.
