Kate Middleton Is Reportedly Afraid She’ll ‘Never Be Close’ to Prince Harry Again

Recently, we learned Kate Middleton has reportedly been struggling with the pressure caused by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent move to Canada and decision to step down as senior royals. However, it’s not just the added workload that’s been bothering the Duchess of Cambridge. According to sources who spoke to Us Weekly, she’s also devastated about the strain it’s put on her relationship with her brother-in-law.

“She wishes she could speak to Harry. She misses him and fears she’ll never be close to him again,” the source claimed.

Kate Middleton’s relationship with Meghan Markle is no better, either. “They couldn’t be further apart,” the insider said.

On top of those personal blows, the duchess has reportedly been “in a panic” over her new, added responsibilities. “She barely has time to rest, and when she does try to sleep, her mind is constantly racing,” another source told Us Weekly.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s close friend Nacho Figueras has also weighed in, saying the red-headed royal isn’t taking his and Markle’s decision to step down lightly. “I spoke to Harry a few days ago,” Figueras revealed in a new ABC special, Royal Divide: Harry, Meghan and the Crown. “He has suffered a lot from all of the things that have happened to him. He wants to live a normal life, as normal as his life is going to be, right? Because when you have a thousand paparazzi outside your house in Canada waiting to get a picture of your son, that’s not very normal.”

Prince Harry pretty much said the same thing in his original speech on the subject. “The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back is not one I made lightly,” he said. “It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges. And I know I haven’t always gotten it right, but as far as this goes, there really was no other option. What I want to make clear is, we’re not walking away, and we certainly aren’t walking away from you.”
