Kate Middleton Repeats a Favorite Dress in a Surprising Shade
Kate Middleton is back to her royal duties and earlier today in London, the Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William for the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit. For today’s outing, Middleton shopped her closet and donned a lilac Emilia Wickstead sheath, which she first wore in Hamburg, Germany in July 2017.
Where Middleton’s frock livened up the festivities the first time she wore the piece, today’s approach was more subdued and refined. The unexpected choice of pastel in fall was offset by polished accessories in tonally coordinated shades of taupe. A top-handle tote from Aspinal of London was a modern riff on Princess Diana’s preferred purse, the Lady Dior bag, while Gianvito Rossi’s suede stilettos finished the look.
