Kate Middleton Recycles a Blue Coat-Dress for an Outing in South Yorkshire

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have quite the day planned.

Before heading to Prince Charles' 70th birthday party at Buckingham Palace this evening, the royal couple took some time to visit South Yorkshire. Will and Kate made appearances at the McLaren Composites Technology Centre and a local hostel for homeless youth.

Kate opted to recycle a blue coat-dress from Eponine's Fall-Winter 2016 collection. Like when she first wore the dress in 2017, the Duchess paired it with navy stilettos from label Rupert Sanderson. Blue-accented earrings and a black clutch finished off the look.

The Duchess has had a relatively stacked schedule over the past week, with Remembrance events and services on Saturday and Sunday, and the Tusk Conservation Awards before that. Kate went for a sensible, somber palette over the weekend, but the Tusk Awards afforded her the opportunity to recycle a teal Jenny Peckham gown.

We also got a peek at the Duchess of Cambridge in a new set of official photographs from the royal family, released in honor of her father-in-law Prince Charles's 70th. Like the rest of the family, Kate is wearing blue and white-a collared polka-dot dress to be specific. She stands with Prince William and holds her youngest, Prince Louis, while Prince George and Princess Charlotte share the bench with Prince Charles and Camilla.

There's also a more candid photo, with just Kate, Prince Louis, and his septuagenarian grandfather. Holding young Louis' hand, it seems that as he approaches his landmark birthday, Prince Charles couldn't be happier.
