Kate Middleton is continuing her stylish run in Pakistan. On the third day of her and Prince William's royal tour, the Duchess opted for a more casual look. The Duchess stepped out this morning wearing a vest over a button down shirt, which she paired with a brown skirt and matching boots. Her earrings are reportedly from Missoma London.

Upon arrival in Chitral, she was given the a regimental cap of the Chitral Scouts and a shawl, which she immediately put on. Princess Diana wore the same feathered hat during her time in the country in 1991. For his part, Prince William received a cloak.

Later on in her visit to a settlement of the Kalash people, Kate received a different, more color headpiece, and put it on.

Earlier this week, the Duchess started out the tour wearing a custom Catherine Walker look. The dress and pants seem to have been inspired by the shalwar kameez, a traditional outfit worn in Pakistan and elsewhere.

A lot of thought always goes into these royal tours—even the sartorial aspects—but this trip has been particularly meticulously planned. As Kate and Will's Communications Secretary previously explained, "This is the most complex tour undertaken by The Duke and Duchess to date, given the logistical and security considerations."

The details of a royal tour, including a detailed itinerary, are usually released ahead of time—but this time, no schedule has been made available. Instead, the Communications Secretary has kept it vague, saying that the tour would "pay respect to the historical relationship between Britain and Pakistan," but "largely focus on showcasing Pakistan as it is today–a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation."

Another spokesman said that the trip would "span over 1000 km, and will take in Pakistan’s rich culture, its diverse communities, and its beautiful landscapes."

Still, pictures are expected to be released after the royals' engagements (or at the very least, after some of the events). So even if royal watchers don't know in advance what Kate and Will are up to, they'll know soon enough.
