Kate Middleton and Prince William are wishing you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas. The royals just debuted their 2023 family holiday photo—a laid-back, black-and-white portrait featuring their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The relaxed scene forgoes the ornate garments and crowns many associate with the royals. Instead, the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children don matching white button downs and jeans, evoking a sense of relatability that's on-brand with the family's past Christmas cards. In their 2022 holiday photo, every member of the family was pictured walking hand-in-hand wearing some iteration of denim and sneakers.

"It was such a pleasure to photograph The Prince and Princess of Wales and their family for the Christmas portrait this year," photographer Josh Shinner shared on his Instagram. "Without doubt one of the most relaxed and enjoyable sittings I’ve ever had, and I now have a whole new set of jokes that are right on my level thanks to the children."

Prince William and Princess Catherine's holiday card isn't the only festive thing they've done so far this year. The family recently hosted its third annual carol service at Westminster Abbey. The service was dedicated to those who work to support babies, young children, and families in their community across the United Kingdom.

The Prince and Princess of Wales took to their joint social page to thank those who attended their event. "Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our special carol service, Together at Christmas," they wrote. "From the performers whose voices filled Westminster Abbey, to the early years workforce of carers, midwives, nurses and so many more who are not only making a difference to children today but also shaping a happier, healthier world in the future."
