2023 is coming to a close, and Prince William and Kate Middleton just shared a cool new video to commemorate it. The best part? Seeing how much their kids Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, have grown this last year!

“2023 ✅ Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our year,” the Prince and Princess of Wales captioned a new video on Instagram today. The highlight video — which is amazingly set to “As It Was” by Harry styles — shows clips from King Charles III’s coronation, Princess Kate with her kids in a tree, Prince Louis helping out his parents at a community give-back event, Prince George trying out a power tool, the trio sending Santa a letter, the kids volunteering, and more. It ended with a black-and-white family photo, which the Wales family used for their official Christmas card this year. (See the full video HERE.)

“This year has been the one where we saw Catherine go from Duchess to Princess of Wales, the Monarchy couldn’t be in better hands ❤️,” one person commented.

Someone else mentioned how proud the late Queen Elizabeth would be of her grandkids and great-grandkids. “I think HRH Queen Elizabeth would be so proud of how the Royals carried on by her example this year. I know that change is difficult. The Prince & Princess of Wales and their family did an amazing job. Well done,” someone wrote.

“Can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for the Wales family! 😍” another said.

The royals have been celebrating the holidays with public traditions. On Christmas Day, they made the annual walk to and from the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Norfolk, where most of the Wales family wore matching blue, except for Charlotte who stood out in a forest green dress instead.

They also dressed up for the “Together at Christmas” Carol Service at Westminster Abbey, where they were spotted mailing Santa Claus letters.

Middleton and the kids also went to a local Baby Bank to donate supplies for families in need and put together supplies for kids.

“Our experiences, relationships and surroundings during early childhood lay foundations that shape the rest of our lives, and future society,” a statement from the Prince and Princess of Wales read in part about the visit to help families. “Supporting parents and carers, who are providing for their families in challenging circumstances can have a life-changing impact.”

The royals have certainly had a big impact on us this year!
