Kate Middleton, Prince William and More Royals Mark Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's Anniversary
Seventy-two years ago today, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip said "I do"—and once again, their ever-growing family is helping them celebrate another year of marriage.
Prince William and Kate Middleton used their official Instagram account to publicly wish the monarch and her husband a happy anniversary. Alongside one vintage and one recent photo of the happy couple, Will and Kate posted a sweet comment. "Wishing Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh a very happy 72nd Wedding Anniversary!"

For their part, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle simply posted one black-and-white image of the Queen and the Duke from back in the day. "Happy anniversary to Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh!" their comment read. "On this day, seventy-two years ago, they were married at Westminster Abbey. Many congratulations!"

And on the main royal family account, which represents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip as well as a host of other Windsors, another congratulatory message was posted. The two-photo slideshow featured an image of the couple waving from the balcony after their wedding, and a more recent shot of the two together.

As for how the duo are celebrating themselves, it's likely that any festivities will be low-key. Philip, 98, is retired, and currently spending time at Sandringham in Norfolk—some distance away from the Queen, who's in London for work. Just this morning, she met with ambassadors from the Republic of Suriname and the Kyrgyz Republic.
Perhaps they can toast to 72 great years later, after the monarch's schedule has settled down a bit.
