Today's a big day in royal history! Do you remember staying up all night on a school night, eating "fancy" finger sandwiches and waiting to catch a glimpse of Kate Middleton's wedding dress (hi) or did you honor your sleep schedule and go to school the next day like a responsible child? That's right, nine years ago today was when Kate and Prince William tied the knot and when everyone was like, "Who dat?" when they saw Kate's brother. So how are they spending the happy occasion after all these years? Coronavirus aside, today is actually quite normal for them.

According to People, Kate and William typically spend their wedding anniversary in private anyway, so celebrating it in self-isolation really isn't any different. True, Kate did go out to greet children at a hospice center on her wedding anniversary that one time in 2013, but that was a break in their tradition of stepping back from the spotlight on April 29.

Right now, the Cambridges are staying in their Norfolk country home, Anmer Hall, with their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. And since it's a school day, they're likely holding a few lessons for the kiddos to maintain their routine. The busy parents have also kept up their royal duties by participating in Zoom calls and working from home, so they'll probably do a bit of that today as well.

Speaking of their jobs, according to an Us Weekly source, Queen Elizabeth told them "numerous times that they’re doing a wonderful job" in light of the public health concerns and the major changes within the royal family. The source added, "The wonderful thing about Kate and William is that they remain focused and calm even during their most challenging times."

Welp, hopefully all this hard work and patience pays off soon so they can celebrate the next big occasion outside and with their friends and family.
