Kate Middleton Paid Tribute to Princess Diana in Her Cute Anniversary Video

Kate Middleton and Prince William have been married for 10 years, a fact that has me feeling...ancient. But on the bright side, their anniversary was filled with a ton of cute royal content—including a new fancy photoshoot and a full-blown video of Wills and Kate frolicking with their kids at the beach, in some random grassy field, and at what appears to be their country house, Anmer Hall.

The video is full of details that body language experts will likely be analyzing for weeks to come, but let's talk about Kate's outfit real quick because it looks like she subtly paid tribute to one of Princess Diana's signature looks. In the video, Kate wore a red sweater with a white ruffled shirt peeking out—aka a "pie crust collar."

As The Sun points out, this was one of Princess Diana's favorite looks—which she wore on multiple occasions, including to Cornwall in 1983, and during a garden party held at Buckingham Palace before her wedding. Here are just a few of her pie crust collar moments:

Pls note: this pie crust collar wasn't the only !!! fashion moment from Kate and William's anniversary photos. Kate also debuted a brand new diamond necklace that cost over $12,000, which some people (kay, basically everyone) assume was a very fancy anniversary gift from William. She paired the necklace with her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring, which belonged to Princess Diana. (And psst: if you're wondering why Prince William isn't wearing a wedding ring, it's no bigs and we have a whole breakdown this way.)
