  • A new report has revealed that both the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex are developing their confidence as members of the royal family.

  • Royal author Robert Lacey told People that the two duchesses are becoming more of "a team."

  • Earlier this week it was reported that Kate Middleton consoled Meghan Markle when her friend, Serena Williams, was runner-up in the Wimbledon women's singles final.

During their joint appearance at Wimbledon to watch Serena Williams play, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle proved that they're developing a strong friendship.

According to People, per an "insider," "You’re seeing more confidence from Meghan recently but also from Kate," with both women growing in their royal family roles.

Royal expert Robert Lacey also told People, "Coming from different backgrounds, I think, they have more the makings of a team than people imagined." The royal expert is sure that we will see the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex working together even more in the coming years. He explained, "And they have a common interest as partners to these two men who are so crucial to the monarchy, along with their children."

People's "insider" also explained that Meghan has been going through an adjustment period after joining the royal family. They explained, "She pretty much arrived in the U.K. and went straight into learning how to be a royal."

The source continued, "Here she was planning her wedding, which anyone who has done it knows how stressful that is, while also immersing herself in a new country, a new family, a new life, all while living in a fishbowl."

Hopefully, Meghan and Kate's joint appearance at Wimbledon was the first of many, as we're definitely fans of the duchesses working together more frequently.
