June 8 marks this year's Trooping the Colour, and members of the royal family are attending celebrations in honor of the queen's birthday.

Trooping the Colour takes place every year, to mark one of Queen Elizabeth's two birthdays. The iconic parade takes place in London, and is followed by a flypast by the Royal Air Force, which the royal family watches from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Attending 2019's Trooping the Colour, Kate Middleton will officially arrive with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, while Prince William rides on horseback-the Duke of Cambridge is a royal colonel of the Household Division.

In 2018, Duchess Kate arrived at Trooping the Colour with her mother-in-law, Duchess Camilla. Kate wore a stunning pale blue dress by Alexander McQueen, and accessorized the look with a hat by Juliette Botterill. She looked elated to be attending the traditional event, as she waved to the crowd throughout her arrival:
Kate was also seen chatting to Meghan Markle on the Buckingham Palace balcony in 2018. Las year's event marked Meghan's first appearance on the balcony with the royal family, and it's clear that Kate supported her new sister-in-law, as she was often seen talking to the Duchess of Sussex.
