It's no secret that Kate Middleton loves a vintage fashion moment. Earlier this year, during her and Prince William's royal tour of the Caribbean, the then-Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a gorgeous red Yves Saint Laurent belted jacket that she is said to have owned since her university days. Flash forward to today, the Princess of Wales has turned to yet another archival piece for an engagement—this time a classic tweed jacket from none other than Chanel.

Kate paired the polished 1995-era blue double-breasted topper, with black piping and buttons, with black wide-leg trousers and a matching pendant during her visit to the Copper Box Arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with the Princess of Wales. The Wales's were there to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Coach Core, which is a program that trains young people to become coaches and encourages the next generation of athletes. During the engagement, they were introduced to several young people associated with the initiative and got to learn more about the sports sessions being offered.

Coach Core was launched by William and Kate, as well as Prince Harry, as part of the Royal Foundation in 2012, in response to the London riots and to contribute to the legacy ideals of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since then, the independent charity has worked across 17 different sites in the U.K. and has supported more than 750 disadvantaged young people who want meaningful careers in sports.
