Kate Middleton's busy schedule of royal events continues. After returning home from her first official visit to Ireland on Thursday (and popping out to do a little shopping at the local bookstore over the weekend), the Duchess of Cambridge had two public engagements on her schedule today.

This morning, Kate attended the annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey where she publicly reunited with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the first time since the Sussexes announced their plans to step back from their senior royal roles.

Kate notably re-wore a burgundy coat dress to the celebration, which nodded back to a previous meeting of the so-called royal fab four. In 2018, she donned the look, believed to be by Catherine Walker, to Christmas Day church services alongside the rest of the royal family.

And this evening, Kate is at Buckingham Palace for a gala dinner in honor of the children's mental health charity Place2Be.

Over the past few years, Kate and Prince William as well as Prince Harry and Meghan have increasingly focused their attention on working to reduce the stigma of mental illness. Kate's work in the field has primarily centered around children, and she has specifically been involved with Place2Be since 2013.

Kate's dress this evening, which looks blue in some photos and royal purple in others, is by one of Kate's favorite British designers, Jenny Packham. She paired the look with with glittery shoes, which are reportedly from Jimmy Choo, and a small sparkling clutch, which perfectly matched her outfit.
