Kate Middleton Just Arrived at Wimbledon Wearing a Chic White Dress
The Duchess of Cambridge has her game face on. Kate just arrived at Wimbledon, surprising royal watchers who weren't expecting to see her until later in the day.
Wearing a graphic white dress with black details, which she paired with an Alexander McQueen belt and classic sunglasses, the Duchess sat not in the royal box, but alongside British tennis players Katie Boulter and Anne Keothavong, as they cheered on Harriet Dart, a wildcard player from London.
Later in the day, she will likely move to the box at center court to watch Angelique Kerber and Roger Federer's matches. Kate is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, and a longtime tennis fan, who attends Wimbledon annually.
Last year, she was spotted at the competition alongside her new sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. She also attended alongside Prince William, so we could see her several times before the tournament finishes on July 14.
Tennis watching aside, it's been a busy couple of days for the Duchess of Cambridge. On Saturday, Kensington Palace announced that she and Prince William will travel to Pakistan this fall, at the request of the U.K.’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Their trip will be the first official visit by a member of the British royal family to Pakistan since 2006.
And yesterday, Kate marked the opening of the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, which features her "Back to Nature" garden, by inviting children from several of her patronages for a picnic. She was spotted looking for bugs and playing with the children, while wearing a patterned green dress.
