Queen Elizabeth will head to Sandringham later this month to celebrated Christmas and New Year's with her immediate family, but before they go, the British monarch has invited approximately 50 of her closest relatives for a holiday lunch at Buckingham Palace.

The Cambridge family just arrived at the annual party, and Duchess Kate appears to be wearing a festive ensemble.

As this is a private family gathering, we likely won't see any full-length shots of her outfit, but based on photos of her in the car, Kate appears to be wearing a pink look. She wore her hair down for the occasion and accessorized small, sparkly drop earrings.

In the photos you can also see Prince George and nanny Maria in the back seat. It's unclear if Princess Charlotte and little Prince Louise are attending the party as well, just out of sight.

Duchess Kate has a habit of wearing red and pinky tones to this lunch. For example, here she is with William arriving at the party back in 2014:

Last year, too, Duchess Kate and Princess Charlotte matched in maroon.

Meghan and Harry were also spotted arriving at the Queen's lunch, Meghan's first as an official member of the royal family. The Duchess of Sussex is wearing a high-necked black look today, though it's hard to tell from the car photos if it is a dress or a shirt and skirt.

They will join the Cambridges and the Queen at Sandringham later this year to celebrate the Christmas holiday.
