Kate Middleton Had a Sweet Moment With the Queen at Easter Service

Celebrations are in order! Not only is it Easter Sunday, but today marks Queen Elizabeth II's 93rd birthday. As per tradition, the royal family attended Easter service at St. George's Chapel (yes, the same one where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married) in Windsor on Sunday morning.

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was photographed arriving with Prince William, and the two seemed to be in good spirits. For the occasion, she chose a very spring-appropriate baby blue coat (another Alexander McQueen re-wear), along with a matching dress underneath, a corresponding fascinator, and beige pumps. Their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, however, didn't walk in with them.

Middleton also shared a sweet moment with the queen before heading in for mass. First spotted by Elle, cameras caught the Duchess giving the birthday girl a perfect curtsy and big smile.

Queen Elizabeth also went for a spring-y palette to celebrate her big day, though her coat and hat skewed more than teal than Kate Middleton's powder blue. Photographers caught her in another cute exchange with two young attendees who appeared to be giving her a bouquet of flowers for her birthday.

Prince Harry was also in attendance, but notably without Meghan Markle by his side. That's hardly surprising though. The Duchess of Sussex is set to give birth literally any day now to her and Harry's first child. Rumors have been circulating widely as to when the baby will come (or if it already has come), what the sex will be, where Markle will choose to have her child, and when she'll first introduce the baby to the public. As is her right, she's deciding to break with the protocol Middleton and Prince William followed for their three children and is asking for more privacy and recovery time before returning to the global stage. (I mean, really, can you blame her?)

So instead, Harry walked to in to the church with his cousins Autumn and Peter Phillips.
