Kate Middleton Ends Her Pakistan Tour in a Delicate Cream Kurta and Knee-Length Black Blazer

From ELLE

Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal tour of Pakistan came to an end today, and the Duchess of Cambridge wore two final black and white outfits to mark the occasion.

The couple ended up paring down their final day schedule in light of some schedule changes. Initially, the couple planned to fly back Thursday, but a severe storm forced the plane to twice abort a landing before turning back and landing in Lahore.

Kate spoke to royal reporters about the experience of being on that flight and enduring all the turbulence. "I think it was quite an adventure really, it was pretty bumpy up there," she said. "But we were looked after so wonderfully by the RAF who did a great job liaising with everyone and got us home safely, so we are hugely grateful to them."

Kate arrived at Lahore airport earlier today wearing a cream Elan kurta, Gul Ahmed trousers, a Maheen Khan scarf, UFO earrings, and J.Crew nude heels. She carried a black Smythson bag:

Kate changed before the couple's final event in Islamabad at the Army Canine Unit, where dogs and puppies are trained to identify explosive devices. The Duchess wore Beulah's black blazer coat with white trousers, a white tunic, and black Russell & Bromley flats.

Some of the best photos of Kate from the tour were taken at the engagement, if only because they show her overjoyed, playing with golden labrador puppies Salto and Sky.
