Kate Middleton’s Dressed-down Outfit Is Perfect for Chilly Weather

Kate Middleton has once again proven to be a complete fashion chameleon. She can effortlessly pull off a glitzy evening gown one day and the most casual of outfits the next, all while pregnant with baby number three.

The Duchess of Cambridge celebrated the anniversary of The Royal Horticultural Society Campaign for School Gardening at a primary school in Kensington last week, and she dressed accordingly while helping the kids plant some trees.

The 36-year-old kept warm in a black Temperley London turtleneck sweater that covered her now-visible baby bump. She wore a waxed Barbour jacket over it and a pair of her favorite black skinny jeans that were tucked into her Pénélope Chilvers dark brown country boots.

The best thing about this outfit? She has worn all of these pieces before, and not just once or twice — those are probably her most treasured (and comfortable) boots since she’s donned them for over a decade now. So if you thought that the Duchess of Cambridge would never repeat an outfit for an official event, think again.

We are also especially fond of this ensemble because it’s so perfect for any outdoor activity — be it hiking in the mountains, exploring a city, or, in Middleton’s case, gardening. And last but not least, since all of the pieces are so classic, anyone can pull them off.
