Kate Middleton Continues Her Polished Maternity Style for Easter Service
The Duchess of Cambridge likely made her last appearance before giving birth sometime in April.
The British royal family attended Easter service today at the St George’s Chapel at the Windsor Castle in England today. Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Beatrice, Prince William, and Kate Middleton were all present at the service, with the appearance likely being Middleton’s last before giving birth sometime in April. (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were missing, however, as they are perhaps busy planning their upcoming wedding.) At the service, the Duchess of Cambridge continued her polished approach to maternity style, opting for a polished coat that continues to be one of her favored go-to items.
For the special occasion, Middleton wore a tailored black overcoat, this time with a pleated hemline that accentuated her baby bump. Subtle details, like the coat’s Peter Pan collar and a pearl brooch, helped elevate the simple style. Being Easter and all, a fascinator was also a no-brainer: Middleton wore a chocolate brown suede pillbox hat with side bow detail. She accessorized with a nude clutch and suede pumps, and pearl earrings. Sleek and polished—a Kate the Great signature.
