Kate Middleton Brought Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the Set of 'Strictly Come Dancing'

It was a royal family outing this weekend: Kate Middleton brought her youngest kids, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, to the set of Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly, which is the UK's version of Dancing with the Stars, films at BBC's Elstree Studios, located outside of central London.

"Kate and Charlotte are huge fans of Strictly so they were delighted to be invited," a source told the Sun. "Kate took pictures of the children in the judges' seats. She seemed really relaxed and was all smiles. She was polite, sweet and charming with everyone and made sure Louis didn’t get over-excited."

The source added, "There was a strict security lockdown on set and staff were told not to take any photos."

In September, Kate revealed her daughter, Princess Charlotte, loves dancing, telling a young royal fan that Charlotte "loves ballet and tap." And, earlier this year, for her daughter's 8th birthday, Kate brought Princess Charlotte and her friends to a ballet performance of Cinderella at London's Royal Opera House. So, it makes sense that the 8-year-old princess is a fan of the dancing reality television show.

She isn't the only royal fan of the show—King Charles and Queen Camilla also watch, with Camilla revealing to last year's champion Rose Ayling-Ellis that she had voted for her. In 2020, Camilla recorded a message for the finale, saying, "It's lifted the whole country's spirits. I'd like, on behalf of everybody who watches Strictly, to say an enormous thank you to everybody who's been involved in this production in this particularly difficult year."

Prince Harry also made a surprise appearance on the show in 2020 to wish his friend JJ Chalmers good luck.
