Kate Middleton channeled her inner ’70s vibes (again) during a surprise television appearance.

Last week, the Princess of Wales, 41, made a special cameo on the BBC’s Children in Need telethon. The royal rocked a '70s-inspired hairstyle that’s starting to become her new go-to.

The duchess’s hair was styled in loose curls that fell below her shoulders. The pieces around her face were curled to create a profile à la Farrah Fawcett.

During the appearance, Princess Catherine spoke fondly of the Children in Need telethon, which has raised over $1.2 billion for disadvantaged youth in the U.K. since the first broadcast in 1980.

“Tonight is all about helping to support, champion and empower all children to be the very best they can be, which is crucial for their future health and happiness,” the Princess of Wales said. “Our relationships, surroundings and experiences during the earliest years lay the foundations that shape the rest of our lives.”

This wasn’t the first time that Princess Catherine has switched up her signature hairstyle for something more retro. Earlier this month, the royal traveled to Scotland with her husband, Prince William, to visit a charity called Outfit Moray. The duchess wore a pair of '70s-inspired flared pants, and she styled her hair to match the groovy ensemble.

Of course, the new hairstyle didn’t last long. A few days later, the Princess of Wales stepped into her brand-new role as Colonel-in-Chief of 1st the Queen’s Dragoon Guards and styled her hair straight with a slight curl at the ends. Then, just last week, Princess Catherine attended the Shaping Us National Symposium event at the Design Museum in London and brought back her classic beachy waves.

Thank you, Kate Middleton, for always keeping us on our toes—even when it comes to your hair.
