Kate Middleton Arrived for Her First Post-Baby Appearance Looking like the Coolest Mom on the Playground
Kate Middleton made her first post-maternity leave appearance today, and she did so pulling off casual in a way only Kate Middleton can.
Never one to throw away clothes after wearing them, Kate's actually worn pieces of this outfit before. Those boots are some of her absolute favorite, they're Penelope Chilvers and she's worn them loads of times.
And, in case the price of those boots are a little too steep, the jeans she's wearing are definitely, 100 percent from Zara. She's worn those before, too.
As for the sweater and raincoat, it's possible they're new but the whole look resembles this outfit from a 2017 visit to a farm.
Today is Kate's first solo appearance since she started maternity leave after the birth of Prince Louis. She's made appearances before for the Queen's birthday and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding, but this is her first work event, if you will.
Per royal reporter Rebecca English, she's "visiting the Sayers Croft Forest School, which allows inner city schoolchildren to engage with the natural world." She'll go on a walk through the woods while she's there, among other outdoorsy things.
Rebecca also noted that Kate's wearing a shorter, more tousled hairstyle today, and said it looks like she and Prince William have been spending time in the sun because the Duchess is super tan. Are you jealous yet?
