Kate Hudson's Daughter Helps Grandpa Kurt Russell Blow Out Birthday Candles in Sweet Video

Kurt Russell is celebrating his 72nd birthday.

Kurt Russell is 72 today—and his family is making sure he feels all the love.

Kate Hudson gave fans a glimpse at the celebration on Instagram, uploading a video of Russell being serenaded by the family singing "Happy Birthday."

Hudson’s partner, Danny Fukijawa, can be seen bringing over his and Hudson’s four-year-old daughter, Rani Rose, to help her grandfather with the birthday dessert.

Russell informs the little one to wait until he figures out his wish, with the youngster then doing the honors and blowing out the candle as everyone around, including her mom, cheers in unison.

The elated grandpa then kisses his granddaughter on the forehead as a thanks for her help.

“Always a double fun day in our family! St Patrick’s day and Pa’s birthday! Love this man so much! How about some birthday love for Kurt! 🍀🎉🎂 Happy Birthday Pa!“ Hudson captioned the post dedicated to her stepfather.

Fans poured into the comments with wishes, as one revealed, "Never met him but there are just some people you can tell have such a happiness to them. Hope he has a beautiful birthday with you all!"

Hudson’s mom, Goldie Hawn, followed suit, paying tribute to her “wacky man” and longtime partner.

The actress shared a photo of Russell laughing as she glanced over at him with the caption, “"Happy birthday to the wacky man in my life! I love you baby.”

Hawn’s son, Oliver Hudson, took to the comments, noting, "Love this pic!!! Hahahah ... Sums up your entire 40 years of togetherness."

The couple has been together since 1983.
