It's giving 'I Dream of Jeannie,' and we demand a reboot immediately.
Kate Hudson is rocking old Hollywood glamour in new red carpet snaps, and she looks oh so pretty in her monochromatic pink satin 'fit.
The Almost Famous actress stepped out in Beverly Hills last night for the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, where she wore a pink top with a high neckline and elbow-length sleeves, which ended in a reverse V shape lined with sparkling orange fringe, baring her midriff.
A ribbony edge lined the end of the sleeves and the waist of the matching floor-length skirt, which fell in a loose pleat pattern to offer the smooth satin some texture.
Hudson wore her hair up, just a few loose strands left to frame her face, and accessorized with a pair of dangly earrings, a gold ring, and a rosegold clutch, her soft glam makeup matching the fabric of her ensemble perfectly.
The whole thing was rather reminiscent of an I Dream of Jeannie costume despite the show airing over 50 years ago, which begs the question: When can we expect the reboot, starring Kate Hudson?
While Hudson herself wasn't nominated for any of the evening's honors, her Netflix film, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, earned five nominations—and a win for Best Comedy—for the event.
She later attended an after-party hosted by W Magazine: their annual Best Performances Party at Chateau Marmont, an old Hollywood-style hotel and restaurant in Los Angeles.
There, she posed with a number of her famous friends, including costars Madelyn Clyne and Janelle Monáe, who were both draped in black, Stephanie Silva, Cara Delvigne, Jaden Smith, Baz Luhrmann, and more.
Perhaps this time next year we'll be seeing shots of the actress on the Grammys red carpet; she recently opened up about shifting into music and how her "daddy issues" put a damper on that aspect of her career, but she estimates she's about 70 percent of the way done with her debut album.
