In anticipation of the long weekend ahead, the 43-year-old shared a flawless poolside Instagram post.

Hudson posed for the camera in a purple one-piece swimsuit with her hair in a sleek low-bun so as not to get in the way of all the warm weather fun.
She added a bright pop of color with matching bright red lips and nails.
In one hand, she held a refreshing yellow cocktail made with King St. Vodka, while she clutched a lemon slice in the other.

The official King St. Vodka account agreed that sipping on poolside cocktails was the “Mood all weekend long 🍸”
The brand is named after Hudson’s former home on King Street in New York. The description notes she wanted to create a spirit for "every experience; one that represented quality and fun, and is perfect for toasting all of life’s most celebratory occasions.”
One comment stood out from the rest as Hudson’s brother, Oliver Hudson, commented: “I just don’t understand..”
However, the message wasn’t lost on fans and celebrities alike, as it elicited plenty of fire, heart and hot face emojis in the comment section.
And it's clear that Hudson’s spirit is the drink of the summer, not to mention a good choice for a weekend that marks the end of the season, even if the King St. Vodka account previously shared a photo from the same shoot with the caption, “Refusing to let summer end.”
